A Tribe Called Quest. Midnight Marauders. Original pressing from 1993. Still with original picture inner sleeves.
The vinyl I have graded at VG. This is a conservative grading. It actually looks and plays very well. Although the presence of some light scuffs and marks can be noticed in some of the tracks. But not overpowering. On the whole it plays through very nicely.
The outer and inner covers I have also graded conservatively at VG. See photos. There is some wear to the edges and front. The inner sleeves are original and in very nice condition. The only gripe is they both have a very small section of spine split on one side. The worst split is about 25mm long, the other sleeve it's barely noticeable.
I have bought records worse than this from Discogs that have been graded as VG+
I have based my grading on the Discogs website and have copied the grading details below. I believe these descriptions accurately reflect the condition of the record and sleeve however if you win the auction and are not happy with the record I will be more than happy to discuss a resolution.
Vinyl condition: VG
"Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound"
Sleeve condition: VG
"Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time" This is the description from Discogs but the cover and inner sleeves have none of that. Its only because of the wear around the edges I have gone for VG
