Description

An original 1975 1st press of this double LP hits package. Matrix 1/1/1/1 [1st cut]. The vinyl comes housed in the original matt gatefold cover. We also have the original booklet. We will ship in a couple of poly-lined inners from the time - please note...I think the originals would have been black.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous condition and has clearly only seen very slight use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A beautifully quiet background which is incredibly important on any KC title. This is a band which produced some of the darn fussiest audio in history. Don't go thinking that any old copy which 'looks ok' will do the job. IT WON'T! You're going to need a copy which has only seen very light careful use - there's no other option really. Otherwise background will soon irritate and distract. Across four sides we are talking a near perfect rendition. Not a whiff of background. Clean audio throughout. Even into the quietest tracks like Moonchild or Starless. Difficult to find fault at all. You can rely on a copy like this to deliver a near perfect rendition - consistently.
Cover (Ex-) The cover's a difficult to find in decent condition, but this example is looking pretty spritely. No sign of light fade or surface wear. Front and rear are remarkably well preserved. Polydor distribution sticker observable on the rear. The interior looks great with just lightest handling evidence. Relatively little edge wear exhibiting. The spine is almost perfectly intact with just a couple of minor stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine original example.
Booklet (Ex) No issues. No ageing. No heavy thumbing.
