Description
This is part of a large auction featuring mainly early Atlantic R&B/doo-wop 45's. There is lots of great stuff here including Ivory Joe Turner, Ruth Brown and some of the more obscure artists. There is also some cool bonus listings. Check back in a couple of weeks for another King/Federal auction.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: The Coolbreezers - My Brother / You Know I Go For You
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Black label first pressing. The first of just three singles released by this obscure vocal group. Classic 50's sound with excellent harmonies, but unusually heartbreaking lyrics. ABC didn't realese many doo-wop records and they are all pretty tough to find in nice shape these days.
Vinyl Condition: VG, The vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear at all - very clean. It sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays solidly VG+ with hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some scuffing and discoloration due to liquid/humidity exposure.
Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve has some light wrinkling. No splits or tears. Small number written in pencil but displays pretty well.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
