Description
This is a part of my big auction Rockabilly/Country & Early Rock N' Roll 7" 45's. I have records from Specialty, Roulette, Dot and several really small labels up for sale this week. Release: Jack Scott - Two Timin' Woman / I Need Your Love
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: White label promo first pressing with NOT FOR SALE verbiage. First record by Scott, who is regarded as the first white rock n roll star to come out of Detroit and is one of the most prolific singers you've never heard of. This A-side here is undeniably rockabilly with a great guitar bridge. The B-side is more of a ballad. Both sides are really good.
Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear at all, but does have some visible, cosmetic hazing (not too bad, but there). It sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some color transfer due to humidity or liquid exposure. Great player copy that I'm bumping down to VG for label cosmetics.
Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve has some minor wrinkling and a small pencil number in the corner, but it looks pretty good overall. No splits or tears.
