Description

"Swaunee Water And Cocaine Blues" on Brandie Records LP 1001 / mono from 196??. This is true down-home Southern "outsider/real people folk/blues/rock/minstrel swamp music by this one man band, Abner Jay. This old-time black musician plays the electric banjo, swamp guitar, harmonica, drums, etc. etc. Songs range from LSD to sex & depression !! Abner was truly one-of-a-kind, a musician and a true philosopher ! The liner notes tell how his secret to great health is drinking water straight from the Swaunee River - how he has 16 "young'uns" and gonna git some more ! He also says that he looks 25 years younger than his actual age. There's 9 great original tunes here in all. This is unlike any other album you're likely to hear! A GREAT OUTSIDER PRIVATE PRESSING. The cover is VG++ with a very slight stain at lower left. The vinyl is NEAR MINT to MINT.
