Description

Here´s an original copy of ABSTRACT TRUTH - Silver Trees, released 1970 in South Africa on Parlophone PCSJ(D) 12065. The first time when I got this record was in '92 from the now legendary "Progressiv Music" list by Stephen Smith in "g" condition for GBP 140,-. Since my first listening I just love it and for me it's together with the 3rd Abstract Truth and first Farmyard the absolute peak when talking about progressive music. Unbelievable great tracks and musicianships. Highly intensive played with fantastic flutes, harpsichord and guitarwork. a great lead vocalist.....everythings perfect. You know how rare this album is and how difficult it is to get clean copies from south african records. This was my 3rd upgrade (got it somewhere around '97) and it is a stunning copy. To find a better one........

Condition cover: m--, the laminated gatefold has lightest cornerwear and a few tiny lamination creases along the spines. Discreet  starting lamination peeling on right spine of front, a bit stronger on top right front. A dirty grey ringwear on back should be cleanable rather easily. Lamination lifting on right bottom corner and top right corner of back. The inside of the gatefold with flaps has lightest rubbing only. Really in super shape.

Condition record: m--, it has a few lonesome visual hairlines and paperscuffs. Plays great with lightest background noises on start, between the tracks and on the last track of side 1. Looks m-, plays m--. I think no way to score a better copy.

I should mention that my gradings are visualy AND audible taken on a Wilson Benesch Act Two turntable combined with Sumiko Blue Point Special cartridge and this combination doesn't lie...I'm just a collector and don't like overgraded records so much...
