Description

Hi there, presented here is an LP that is considered to be in the Top FIVE AC/DC rarities of all time!!  The mispressed South African version of the "Let There Be Rock" LP!!  When this version was very first pressed, there was an error during printing, with reversing of colours occuring.  This resulted in this sleeve being printed with a light purple and green background on the front sleeve, and with  the AC/DC logo in green.  The reverse of the sleeve has Angus in green.  The track listing is the same as the UK version of this LP.  Released on the Atlantic label, catalogue number ATC 9671. This is from my own collection.  So here's the condition:-

The LP:-   EX+ , very nice, plays through with only very low surface noise.  No marks at all on either side. 

The Sleeve:- VG, the front sleeve is generally in EX condition, the colours very vibrant, and the same with the reverse of the sleeve.  The title spine is proud and fully legible.  The top edge, opening edge, and bottom edge have a fair amount of light wear, though nothing deep, no splits etc. There is a bit of wear to the top right front of the sleeve, where a sticker has been removed.  This only covers about half an inch square, and does not detract from the lovely impact of this alternate sleeve. There is light ringwear to the rear sleeve.  Some light creasing towards the edges. The sleeve does look very nice.  I have to say that this colour scheme looks better than the standard release!!

 

All in all, this LP is utterly, utterly rare, and it would be tough to find this at all, let alone in this highly respectable condition.  My LP's are sent out in professional mailers, with additional packing.   Whether within the UK or abroad, this LP will be sent signed for, and proof of postage kept.  Depending on selling price, I might insist on Insurance etc, which will increase the cost of postage.  Some ebayers have been saying that when listing, some restrictions have been placed on posting abroad. If this occurs, please get in touch and I will sort this. I post worldwide, the only exception being Italy.
