ACCEPT "Midnight Highway" MEGA-RARE 1983 US test pressing LP! UDO*Running Wild*

ACCEPT "Midnight Highway" rare 1983 test pressing LP!!

Jem Records - 1983
Country where manufactured: USA
Condition (cover/vinyl) = VG+/M-

This is a mega-rare test pressing of this ACCEPT compilation album from 1983 which includes tracks from their first two LPs.  Accept was one of the first German metal bands to crack the US market (along with the Scorpions), and their first two LPs didn't do much in the US- but by 1983 when "Balls to the Wall" came out they were on the map- and this LP was probably released to capitalize on that success!  It was released on the smaller independent Jem Records label based out of NJ, who released the first two LPs in the US too.  I think this might be one of the rarest Accept US test pressings, I couldn't find any documentation of a copy of this LP having been sold in recent history.

The LP itself looks unplayed, the labels have NO spindle marks on them, nor does the vinyl show any signs of handling.  It has blank "Hub-Servall" labels with the catalog number hand written on it, they were a big east coast pressing plant around that time. The cover is a plain white generic jacket with the yellow cue sheet taped on to it, it shows some light wear but still looks great!  Shows very little signs of wear for an LP that is 30 years old.  I also have another ACCEPT test pressing up for sale this week for the "Accept" debut 1979 LP. Please see my other items for simliar LPs for sale this week, heavy metal test pressings, and other rare items.

I've done my best to include all information about this item and condition in this listing- I'm a record collector too so I know how important it is to know what you're getting when doing mail order.  However, if you have any questions please feel free to ask- I'm more than happy to answer questions you might have while auction is going on than to have questions after it has closed and/or you got your item.  Thanks, and good luck in the auction!

CUSTOMS INFORMATION:

International Buyers - Please Note:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

The above statement is taken directly from the eBay web site and is their rule, along with USPS rule.  I will not declare items as "gifts" or change customs forms, so if you have concerns about this please do not bid on my items.  Items are declared at full and actual value so that if anything happens during shipping we can actually file and insurance claim and the money is not lost.  I appreciate your understanding in this policy.

PAYMENT, SHIPPING & HANDLING:

Payments are by PAYPAL only, and payment is due within 7 days of auction closing or ebay will be notified via non-paying bidder notice and appropriate feedback will be left.

Items won will be shipped to the shipping address on your Ebay account by USPS. I use real LP/45/padded mailers, and when sending vinyl I always remove LP/45 from sleeve to avoid damage in shipping. I make every effort to be an efficient shipper, and will get your stuff out to you within a few days of payment being received. I also buy a lot on ebay, and know how annoying it is to wait- so I will be as fast as I can! I have been buying/selling on ebay for over 15 years, so please bid with confidence!

Thanks for your help with keeping the transactions smooth.

CONDITION & GRADING:

I have put a section about my grading scale/methods on my 'about me' page, which you can click here to see.

FEEDBACK:

I will be happy to exchange feedback with anyone I complete a transaction with, and I will leave you positive feedback after I receive payment. I would appreciate you leaving feedback for me after you receive your item, and if there is any area of our transaction that you felt was less than 5 stars please let me know so I can try to fix it.  I strive to keep my DSR ratings and feedback high, and in case you didn't know anything less than a 5 star rating is not ideal for eBay's seller evaluations- we have to strive for 5 stars at all times! If you have any problems with item, please write before leaving feedback to try and resolve issue.

Thank you!
