Description
AC/DC, 'Back In Black'.Original UK Atlantic label stereo first press LP, with the lyric inner, the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and matching A-4/A-4 stampers!
Back In Black is the sixth Lp by AC/DC, recorded in the Bahamas after the untimely death of Bon Scott in London in Feb and released in July 1980. With new singer/songwriter Brian Johnson on board AC/DC then went on to conquer the world.....
The embossed glossy sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some edge/corner wear and some storage rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the lyric inner is intact and in VG+ condition, with some ring wear. The record is in visually EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of needle marks/scuffs visible on each side under bright light. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of only a couple of faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, with some low, brief background noise during the run in grooves and overall a really great, loud and clear listen! The matrix nos. are; K-50730, A-1 stamper A-4 Stawberry, B-1 stamper A-4 Strawberry. This is one of the early copies of the 1st press of the original 1980 UK stereo issue of this album!
