Our vinyl grading is based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
Sleeve/Record Grading Definitions
“SS” Still Sealed: Record condition is unknown / Sleeve is in Shrink wrap unopened.
“M” Mint: A near perfect, or unplayed record. / Sleeve shows no scuffs creases or wear
“NM” Near Mint: In factory fresh condition like new. / May show slight wear barely noticable
"EX+" Excellent Plus: Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play.. / Only Slightest wear on Sleeve
"EX" Excellent: A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. / May have some corner wear, and/or few light scuffs or creases
"VG+" Very Good Plus: There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. / Sleeve will have noticeable wear, scuffs, small creases on edges, corner wear.
"VG" Very Good: Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. / Sleeve has large creases and scuffs
"G" Good: In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
