Condition: Cover VG-, Disc VG, Labels VG+  

Super rare 1st press of this classic album.

Late first pressing with Blue center labels & kangaroo. Later copies had the side one label changed to correct an error in the writing credit for "Baby Please Don't Go". It was incorrectly credited to Broonzy, but was actualy written by Joe Williams - The matrix number is the same, and the label still carries the Blue Roo, that is used by Alberts, to signify an original Alberts issue. Track A1 is still credited to Broonzy on the back of the sleeve, but Joe Williams is now credited on the side one label. (these are a lot less common than Broonzy - at a rate of around Three Broonzy to one Joe Williams, which is also a good indicator that this is not a different issue). The side one, track one, label credit was the only change on the entire record... it is still the first Mother runout matrix code.

Disc is in very good condition, a few scuffs and light scratches which no not substantially affect sound quality.  Cover showing signs of ring wear, spine split (see photo) and two small crosses next to tracks one and two on back cover (see photo).

Overall a great copy of this very rare pressing which will not disappoint.

EXCELLENT: 
RECORD: Some signs of being played with extremely little if no loss of sound quality.
COVER: Slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD: 
RECORD: Obviously been played with noticeable surface marks & the occasional light scratches but exhibits no major loss of sound quality.
COVER: Noticeable wear on cover, seam or spine.
GOOD: 
RECORD: Very obviously been played with very noticeable surface marks & exhibits major loss of sound quality.
COVER: Noticeable folding, scuffing of spine or edges, splits in seams or spine or fading of colour.
