Description
Item : original Australian 45rpm record
Title : High Voltage / Soul Stripper
Artist : AC/DC
Release details : 1975 1st Australian pressing on the black ALBERT label with 'kangaroo icon' ( Cat. No.# AP-10829 ~ Stereo )
Condition :
VINYL ~ Gee, you don't see early Acca Dacca singles in such unbelievably good condition these days. This one appears MINT ! Glossy throughout, un-marked, no spindle marks and absolutely glorious !!
It tracks through sweetly without any lead-in hiss ( I gave it one spin to test for quality ) and is rated near MINT. Both labels are clean and you will never see a better copy !!.
SLEEVE ~ It comes in it's perfect & original Australian EMI cover ( no picture sleeve was issued with this release in Australia ).
Description :
Here is as close to perfect pressing of this now quite rare original Aussie AC/DC single from Bon's early days with the band.
Taken from the LP of the same name , every copy of this single I've ever seen has been thrashed to death and yet remarkably it appears this one has been in storage and untouched for the past 30 years… a most valuable collectors prize in anyone's language.
As an added bonus here I have included a blue-A label 'promo' Australian pressing of this 45. Admittedly it is in rather poor shape ( rated VG- ) however despite it's well worn condition it tracks through without skips (the B-side plays particularly well) and is certainly, as we say, 'better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick'. Despite the minor label tear to the A-side I consider this more of a collectors piece that is of at least some value and no doubt an added bonus to the winner here. The EMI sleeve is 'as new'.
