Autralian rock and roll legends AC/DC have been rocking the world for over FIFTY years now. The band began their decades long career in 1973. By 1975, they released their first album, titled 'High Voltage', but only in Australia and New Zealand. It got a new cover, and a different tracklist, and was released again, everywhere else in the world, in May of '76. In 1978, the band released their first live album, and called it 'If You Want Blood You've Got It', (usually shortened to 'If You Want Blood'). It's Bon at his best, and the band rocking hard, and with a purpose. They were beginning their quest for world domination....
At some point in the last few years, as the actual release date is unclear, a special and extremely limited edition Australian promo copy of this live album was released on a 12" picture disc LP. The A side of the record is that pic of Bon and Angus, slightly blurred. Oh, and Angus is being impaled by his guitar! The B side is song titles and credits, and Angus on the floor, and his shirt bloody from the impaling. It's reported that the song list, taken from the actual album, is not exactly what's on here (though the actual album's songs are listed on here). And I never play my specialty vinyl, such as pic discs or colored records, so I'm not exactly sure what's on here!
There's plenty of scratches on both sides, including one that is rather deep, about 4 or 5 inches long, on the A side. This is NOT recommended to be played. But it's a really cool conversation piece, and would look great on display. I'll even throw in an awesome bonus! You'll get the February 2008 issue of 'Classic Rock' magazine, printed and published in the UK. It's great, and always has the best articles! This issue features Bon and his partner in crime Angus Young on the cover, with a really great cover story inside. The mag is in great shape, with no pages torn or ripped out, no dog-eared pages, or handwriting anywhere on it. Only a tiny bit of shelf-wear on the corners and spine. With tons of other stuff about other cool bands, it's become one of my favorite rock and roll magazines.
(RIP to Bon and Malcom. Both of you were important and integral members of the band, and you helped shape it into what it became. One of the biggest bands in the world! You are both missed.)
