COVER - VG (shows slight shelf & ring wear, no seam splitting, cover is still shiny and crisp)
SLEEVE - VG original paper sleeve, some creasing & one small tear near center hole, seam split on bottom of paper sleeve
This is a stunning, highly collectible 1978 US first pressing of AC/DC’s classic album, Powerage. This specific copy is the definitive audiophile version, featuring the legendary "@tGP" matrix etching in the runout groove. Cut directly from the original analog tapes at Atlantic Studios by chief mastering engineer George Piros, this Presswell Records pressing is widely celebrated by vinyl enthusiasts for its exceptionally "hot" and powerful mix that maximizes the raw, driving crunch of Malcolm and Angus Young's guitars.
The condition of this vintage release is outstanding and has been meticulously preserved. The vinyl plays beautifully and grades at a strong Excellent to Near Mint (EX/NM), showing almost no physical wear and retaining its original high-gloss shine. The iconic jacket is also in Excellent condition, completely free of any seam splits or edge tears, exhibiting only very minor, slight ring wear that is typical for this dark-covered release.
