Description

AC/DC, Rare Vinyl Box Set. Original French First Pressing release from 1980 cat# 60149. No Bar Code. With SUPER RARE Miss pressed Side A label on Powerage.

Features 3 x vinyl 12” LP’s, and 1 x vinyl 3 track 7” Promo Ep + poster and Original OBI Strip.

7” Promo Ep:

Baby Please Don’t Go/Jailbreak & Soul Stripper # Pro 171.

LP’s:

High Voltage # 50257

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap # 50323

Powerage # 50483.

The Powerage LP has a Miss-pressed side A label; it lists 4 tracks only. Track 1 being Gimme a Bullet; this is the same listing as the very first UK pressing from 1978. Rock N Roll Damnation is listed on the box as track 1 but is not listed on the label, but it is quite clear looking at the vinyl that side A has 5 tracks on it.!!.

Side B label also has conflicting running times to those listed on the box for the following tracks:

Sin City LP 4.40 mins, Box 4.58 mins.

Up to my neck in you LP 4.58 mins, Box 3.15 mins.

Cold hearted Man LP 3.15 mins, Box 3.45 mins.

Cross referencing with other copies of Powerage it is the running times listed on the box that are incorrect.

There is also a black and white poster of Angus and rarely seen with this set is the OBI Strip which was originally placed around the box.

All the vinyls are near mint, clean and clear, no visible marks.

Cvrs are all Ex+ slight discolouration on High Voltage and there is a small tear to the spine of Powerage approx 2cm.

Box is VG, slight scuffs to the corners on the lid, but it’s still in good strong condition.

Poster near mint and the OBI Strip is VG, has come away at its join, NOT TORN, was joined by two little circular stickers and these have lost their stick.
