s/t LP - FIELDS (Uni 73050)
Original 1969 U.S. stereo LP. 6 tracks, including: "Elysian Fields," "Bide My Time," & the almost 20 minute cut encompassing all of side 2, "Love Is The Word," more. Tuff Hendrix-inspired rock/psych by this California-based power trio, heavy on the wah-wah & screaming guitars. W/ good trippy artwork on this unipak gatefold cover.
Disc = Looks EX- (lite hairlines; small lite scratch in middle of track 1, side 1 causes faint background clicks for a few revolutions), but plays better; some lite pops & a faint background noise - NO distortion; all-in-all, the overall sound is excellent
Cover = front - slight ring/general wear, lite wear in all corners, lite wear along all edges, small tear near upper edge, small scratch/chip near lower left corner, small dimple (just left of the standing dude's head), tiny staple holes in upper right corner, lite cracking in upper right corner, lite cracking along left spine edge, hundreds of tiny spots (ink?) scattered throughout upper left corner area (see pic), tiny cutout hole / inside - slight ring wear, small lite rub wear along bottom right edge, small crease/crunch in lower right corner / back - some ring/general wear, slight wear in all corners, small crunch/crease in both lower corners, faint near invisible small sticker residue near upper right corner
Labels = lite wear around center hole on side 1, tiny chip by center hole on side 2, w/ NO spindle marks to be found
