Description

The ACID ARCHIVES book by Lundborg, Milenski & Moore was published in 2006 and went out of print last year. I recently found a few sealed, unsold copies in a box and am offering one of them here.

Expanding on the popular and highly renowned Acid Archives website, which has over 15.000 visitors per month, this book version adds 100s of albums and reviews not listed on the web, as well as lots of images, rare band photos and LP sleeves. The book features release details and in-depth reviews for more than 4,000 obscure LPs from the USA and Canada, 1965-1982, including reissue data and value ratings. The main genres are psychedelia, garage, folk & folkrock, hippie rock, progressive rock, and hard-rock. There is also a wide selection of interesting and rare singer-songwriter, harmony pop, soft rock, lounge-rock, avantgarde and “outsider” albums. This is the first ever comprehensive guide to the vintage musical underground of North America, and opens up a gigantic field of outstanding music that has previously been exclusive and hard to grasp. There’s also a buyer’s guide, a glossary, a historical background, fun Top 10 lists, and much more. 300 pages, perfect-bound quarto with thick full color soft-cover, and a foreword by Mike Stax of Ugly Things magazine.

Condition is NEW, Still Sealed.

No matter what fantasy shipping cost eBay's new processing tools may display here, the shipping cost for 1 copy of the Acid Archives book is $12 within Europe and $16 elsewhere. This will be added to the winning bid after the auction ends.

I have been collecting and dealing rare 1960s-70s records and items for 25 years. All items are graded M/M-/Ex/Vg++/Vg+/Vg/Vg-/G/F/P based on both aural and visual aspects. “M” corresponds to 10/10 on a 1-10 scale, while “P” equals 1/10. I rarely offer records below Vg+. This is a grading system used by many LP dealers, and I use it for other types of items as well. Grading for LPs/45s is disc/sleeve. Defects or unusual properties of the item will be mentioned specifically. Feel free to inquire during the auction.

I encourage use of eBay checkout, but will also send separate e-mails for verification. Shipping costs will be calculated after auction and added to winning bid. 45s and CDs never ship for more than $5 anywhere, single LPs never ship for more than $13. If you want to have the parcel sent registered or insured you must specifically require this. No ripoff "additional" fees for handling/eBay/Paypal/whatever added - what you see is what you get. Payment accepted via Paypal (recommended overseas) or electronic bank wire (recommended within Europe). No money orders or cheques.

Winner must get in touch within 3 days after auction’s end and submit payment within 10 days, or item will be withdrawn and negative eBay feedback left. Enforcing this is how I got my only negative comment, and I'm proud of it. Positive eBay feedback always left for smooth transactions. Good luck!
