Description
On offer is a 7” EP record titled GARRATTS WEST – The AD 60 Class Of The NSWR (Hi Rail NSWR-4). It plays at 33 rpm. There are notes on the back. The record was released in the mid 1960’s.
RECORDINGS: W.44 - 3629 and 6014 on a heavily graded section between Molong and Orange – 1964 / The same engines reach the top of a long 1 in 40 grade in a cutting / 6021 and 6011 approaching the Borenore level crossing / Double-heading Garratts make a run through Borenore towards Nashdale / A Garratt – No 604, a block wheat train just out of Junee – October 1962 / 604 working hard at approx 15 mph / 6016 on No 88 Goods near Kelso – October 1963.
The record is in VG++ condition. 7 out of 10. Plays well. / The cover has some storage wear and light soiling. A couple of small spots of edgewear and a couple of small spots of paint on the front. No splits or tears. A very sound copy of a hard to find item.
