This is somehow a unique album as the lead vocals a throughout by a female singer (whereas we know the African Brothers - as their name implies - as a straight boy group). Unfortunately I have no idea who that lady on the mike is – do you?

The sound is typical African Brothers, complex rhythms, cool organ, good guitar work, and even Mr. Ampadu’s voice can be heard from time to time. Very groovy, and seldom seen... never saw this one on Ebay before.

PS: The female singer on this record is most likely MUM BEA. This weekend, I sorted a huge stack of 7' and found several singles on the Aduana label with the same voice - stating Mum Bea as a singer. Mum Bea was trained by Nana Ampadu, recorded at least 16 song under the African Brother's and was even married to Ampadu in the late 1970s...
