AFRTS RL 47-4 King Crimson "Starless" Blue Oyster Cult RARE radio record LP.
One side features 4 songs from King Crimson "Starless and Bible Black". The other side features 4 songs from Blue Oyster Cult (BOC) "Secret Treaties". AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Services) records were pressed in limited numbers on custom labels for their stations at military bases around the world. Only a handful of these were made!
Side 1: King Crimson: "Lament", "Trio", "The Night Watch", "Fracture (Part 2)". Side 2: Blue Oyster Cult: "Career of Evil", "Cagey Cretins", "Harvester of Eyes", "Astronomy".
Album comes in plain manila envelope sleeve, with names of artists written on sleeve & record #'s written. These were how they were originally released (except with the writing). Album plays all the way through on both sides without skips. There are crackle and pops, and a little dirt in a few places - can probably be cleaned, but didn't want to risk causing any damage - but played both sides all the way through. Crackles are very evident on the start of the King Crimson side, as the songs are so quiet!!
