AGAPE Le Troisieme Seuil LP CANADIAN PROG PSYCH XIAN
I just acquired a huge collection of Canadian records. Many rarities are part of this find, books and magazines too. I will need a few months to go through them to see what I have. Let’s start with some of them.
Unrelated to the U.S. band of this name, this is a Canadian progressive band who conjured up a dark organ sound layered with pleasant woodwind, sound effects and weird vocals sung in French on this their sole offering. The stand-out track is the opener «Ouverture», with its dramatic organ introduction and imaginative electronic effects, and there are lots of ideas and diversity here to interest connoisseurs of progressivism, Xian and Canadian psychedelic collectors. Valuation of rarity in Hans Pokora RCD is very rare (3).
This was poorly promoted and distributed, it didn't sell well. A true rarity!

Label: Private pressing AG-2001, 1972 (w/rare insert including lyrics, pictures and poetry)
Condition: STRONG VG++ (tape on front cover – top left – see picture / STRONG VG++ (Side 2) to EX- (Side 1) / The same kind of sticker than the one on picture sleeve, was putted on orange label (se picture)
