AHMAD JAMAL TRIO The Awakening LP IMPULSE! AS-9194 Orig US 1970 JAZZ.
Vinyl is G+ with moderate surface wear/lines producing background and tics throughout. Full disclosure, on initial playback there was a skip that occurred on a vintage Phillips 212 turntable that was not present when played on a vintage Pioneer PL-10. Overall quality was the same on both turntables in regards to background and sound. My best recollection was that the skip was near the end of side two but it has been sometime since switching turn tables that I don’t completely remember.
The cover is VG- to VG with ring wear, general wear/discoloration to the front and back and a center split on the bottom. Gatefold is decent.
