Ahmad Jamal Trio At The Pershing/But Not For Me, 1958, pretty rare Original 1st Stereo pressing on the ARGO record label,
Catalog LPS 628. Dark blue label. Recorded January 16, 1958 at the Pershing Hotel in Chicago. Includes the
7 1/2 minute Poinciana. Album was on the Billboard magazine album charts for 107 weeks. Vinyl record fully
play tests VG+, with clean labels. Album cover with crease on right front, seams spine in wonderful condition,
corners also, see pics for front/back. Circular stamp on back upper right. Nice solid to strong VG+ condition.
Don't have the original inner sleeve, but will include a mid 60's Cadet inner sleeve, which is what the ARGO
label transformed into 1965. There are 7 pictures of Ahmad Jamal album covers on the sleeve. Sleeve is in a
solid VG+ condition, with a tear on upper right corner, seams all intact, front and back really nice shape.
Record itself will be shipped in a white generic inner sleeve.
