WOW! Here’s a Rare One! This is a 1963 album entitled “Come Surf with Me” by famed Actor/Singer AKI ALEONG & his Awesome Band The NOBELS! Released on VEE JAY SR-1060 this is the Rare STEREO Copy! Making this an even Rarer find, is that it has the STICKER on the front Cover that says “Introducing PIPELINE”! Yes, this is same song that The CHANTAYS made famous! While AKI was producer of important note, he only sings on one song! A Very Cool SURF version of the Calypso classic "(All Day All Night)Maryann"! The main attraction here as Surf Collectors will tell you is the assemblance of The NOBELS! Lead by Phenomenal Guitarist RALPH GEDDES, his brother PAUL GEDDES, RON SMITH, MARTY SMITH & RICK GARDNER!  RALPH is considered by many Surf Music aficionados to be one of the most underrated of the early Surf Guitarist! Listen as he leads the charge with "Dick Dale" type playing as they Absolutely Kick Butt performing Surf Classics like "Surf Rider", "Apache","Surf Beat","Miserlou" and others! It is VERY easy to see(or should I say HEAR?) why this albums books so high in price guides! It is Surf Music at it's FINEST! Cover is VG/VG+ has a some staining at the bottom (which isn’t as noticeable as is it is in the photos) Spine is strong and seams are all intact! Record is looks VG+/VG++ with a couple light marks and a small amount of light popping on a couple of songs, but Overall, plays VG++/NM!
