Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin Clean Record Washer System.
RCA Victor flat edge, deep groove MONO vinyl LP LJM-1020 - released 1954
VG+ vinyl retains newish shine and gloss. Some prior play evident due to spindle trails on labels (see photos). Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed crisp, rich analogue sound with light surface, errant light tick and a pop or two. There's a non-feelible elongated scratch side 1 with no affect on playback. VG+ laminated cover has light shelf wear, small stub lower right corner, a bit of laminate separation along opening and a penciled price upper rear left corner.
