ONE SIDED LP  is in Near Mint condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, without marks scuffs,or scratches of any kind.

The fidelity is superb,with no intrusive distortion, pops, clicks,or background noise of any kind.



Jacket is in NM/EX+ condition.
Original hard  acket features near spotless               lamination.There is some minor corner and seam wear only!   This copy appears to have been played once and is stored in the original factory inner sleeve.                                                        JAZZ AT LIBERTY In December of 1962 the Soviet regime cracked down once again on the playing of Jazz in the USSR.The Soviet press joined in the campaign by attacking this music as "decadent"   To fill the vacuum created by this latest Soviet move,Radio Liberty in June, 1963,launced a half-hour weekly program conducted by Russian-speaking disc jockey Boris Orshansky which featured the best of Modern American jazz and interviews with top performers.This series became a showcase for Soviet jazz composers when members of the Benny Goodman group who had toured the USSR recorded with other top counterparts.   Radio Liberty,of course,took strict precautions to  protect the idenity of the Soviet composers.Outside experts have termed their offerings first rate jazz with excellent comerical possibilites.The octet is headed by Bill Crow,bass,and alto saxist Phil Woods,members of the Benny Goodman band that toured the Soviet Union last year.Playing with them are two other Goodman alumni Phil Woods,Art Farmer,Zoot Sims,Nick Brignola and drummer Walter Perkins.
