Here is a excellent very rare original 1967 uk thick stereo vinyl pressing in original E.J.Day patents pending front laminated sleeve. This is Al Stewart's brilliant very rare uk debut Folk-psych album, it is by far his rarest official uk album. Apparently Al Stewart was never happy with the mix of this album as he thought it was over-orchestrated, so it was re-mixed and then released again in 1970 with completely different artwork and a slightly different track-listing. This original 1967 stereo copy on offer here is in excellent clean condition and plays and sounds superb throughout with the minimal amount of background noise. This very rare folk-psych album does not surface for sale very often at all and it may be some time before another original 1967 uk stereo copy gets offered in this condition again. This is a very nice clean playing copy that will not disappoint.

THICK STEREO VINYL = EX
Both sides of the original thick stereo vinyl are in excellent condition. The vinyl is nice and clean with a great original sheen with just a few light top surface scuffs and some very fine hairlines, there are no nasty scratches or deep marks so there are no areas of continuous loud clicks or pops or annoying loud crackle, there are only very small amounts of very low level behind the music hiss/crackle and just the odd sporadic pop and tic, whatever surface noise is heard is really not serious at all as this album plays and sounds excellent throughout. The sound quality is really nice and clear on all tracks with no lessoning in the audio. This is just a very nice original first press stereo copy that plays and sounds really great and will not disappoint.
ORANGE CBS LABELS = EX
Both first press orange CBS labels are in excellent condition with just a few spindle traces per side.
E.J.DAY FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE = EX
The front laminated single sleeve was made and printed in the uk by E.J.Day and grades as excellent condition. The front lamination still looks really glossy and reflective with just a few very small lamination shifts/lines. The top and bottom edges are in great shape with tiny areas of wear/fluffing at some corners. The matt back cover is still in nice and clean condition with only minor age/discolouration, this really is pretty minor as this front laminated E.J.Day cover stills looks in great condition with no bad faults. The white paper inner is in excellent clean condition with no marks or splits.
