Description
AL STEWART Love Chronicles was released in 1969 on CBS Records in the United Kingdom, catalog number S 63460. This is the original UK first pressing on the rough-texture orange CBS label, Made in England, in the original gatefold sleeve. The album was named Melody Maker’s Folk Album of the Year for 1969.
Side 1 includes In Brooklyn, Old Compton Street Blues, The Ballad of Mary Foster, and Life and Life Only. Side 2 includes You Should Have Listened to Al and the 18-minute title track Love Chronicles. Produced by Roy Guest. Co-produced by Al Stewart and John Woods. Engineered by John Woods and Ron Pender.
