Up for auction is a rare issue on ALADDIN 808 MONO “LLOYD GLENN” “ CHICA-BOO” This is a MICROGROOVE LP, and is on the rare red vinyl.
A talented pianist and musical arranger, like his friend and neighbour Maxwell Davis, Lloyd Glenn was less renowned for his own fine recordings as for his peerless work on those by other musicians; particularly the Midas touch he contributed to the production and accompaniment of blues guitarists like T-Bone Walker, Lowell Fulson, Gene Phillips, Gatemouth Brown and B B King.
Record is in VG+, with a few marks. Plays very nice with little back ground noise. Sorry but the cover has a small seam split on the top. Cover has nice shine. Please email me if you have any questions. This books out quite high on GOLDMINE R & B price guide
