Description
I thought this US version of Alan Freed's "Rock 'n' Roll Dance Party" had gone missing or indeed had never been in the sleeve. I came across this record itself just a couple of days ago. I 've played it to grade and it is in very good condition. It's a US copy released in 1957 on CORAL CRL 57115. The UK copy was sold recently which was a very rare one. The US version is also pretty rare and goes for $150 + Mint.
This is the guy who did a huge amount for Rock 'n' Roll in it's infancy and this is a gem of a record to have, being by the man himself. Swinging band and of course Jimmy Cavello and his House Rockers, with some stomping tracks. Tracks are as listed in picture of back sleeve.
Record is actually graded in Ex. Cond. Sleeve is in VG Cond. only, as yellowing sellotape is round all sides. Chance for unlucky bidders the other week to get this very rare Album.
