Description

Hard-To-Find full-length LP from Alan Gowen/Phil Miller/Richard Sinclair/Trevor Tomkins titled "Before A Word Is Said" released by Europa Records (JP 2007) in 1982. Canterbury progressive rock/fusion all-stars recorded these 8 tracks at Alan Gowen's flat in 1981 which proved to be his last session before passing from leukemia at the young age of 33 that same year. These understated tracks are firmly in the jazzier camp of the Canterbury sound and reward the attentive listener with subtle pleasures.
