 I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE OF THE BEST COLLECTION OF PROMOS / DEMOS / ACETATES FROM A RETIRED RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE THAT WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM THE LATE 1950'S TO THE MID 1970'S, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING COLLECTION OF SINGLES I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I WILL BE LISTING IT OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, THERE ARE MANY NEVER SEEN, OR RARELY SEEN PROG / PSYCH / FREAKBEAT / MOD / BEAT / DANCER / NORTHERN SOUL / ROCK 'N' ROLL / POPCORN / FOLK  DEMOS / PROMOS AND ACETATES !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK DOUBLE SIDED MOD ACETATE single by ALAN PRICE SET from 1968, ORIGINAL UK DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE !!!
This is a DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE for the 1968 single DON'T STOP THE CARNIVAL / THE TIME HAS COME, from what I can compare with this is a slightly different mix, also the B SIDE which is very long was cut right into the label space in the middle and cut off a few second before the end as it is over 5 minutes long, IT IS A GREAT MOD number !!! The ACETATE seemed to have had a label on the A side that over the years must have fallen off !
This is a RARE DEMO / PROMO COPY SINGLE !!!

This copy came from a retired RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE (as mentioned above), hence this is a PROMO / DEMO COPY that was made way before the finished copies were made  !!! 

The tracks are: DON'T STOP THE CARNIVAL / THE TIME HAS COME.
The ACETATE was pressed by DECCA RECORDS.

The condition of the ACETATE is VG-/VG (plays with the usual crackle and pops acetates tend to have, B. SIDE cuts after 5+ minutes because it is cut into the label space) !!!
