ALBERT AYLER QUINTET - Spirits Rejoice LP ESP-DISK 1020 Promo Review Test Pressing
VINYL: VG / VG-
Although not excellent large portions of the LP sound clean, very good or better, especially in the louder or horn filled sections. There are numerous visible but dull needle scuff lines & thin scratches on side two, nothing sharp, deep, or feel-able but obvious & it plays very good- with some isolated pockets of pops, tics, or clicks more noticeable in some of the quieter sections. There is an odd defect or small, round indention in the outer rim into the trail-in but it does not interfere with the music. With exception to some vinyl flaws the music still sounds great with some wild & unusual free jazz sounds.
