Extremely rare 2LP set, gatefold album with both volumes 1 & 2 of the "Nuits de la Fondation" from Albert Ayler, performed and recorded live in 25 & 27 July of 1970, a little before the death of this real jazz monster legend under strange circumstances, being sadly one of his last(if not the last ones) performances. Released on the legendary SHANDAR label in France, the one responsible for some jewels of "new" music with releases of works from La Monte Young, Terry Riley, Philip Glass, Ragnar Grippe and more! Albert Ayler needs no recommendations at all...a legendary figure and one of the most important saxophonists whose work has influenced manyuntil today and will continue to do the same in the future. Together appear Mary Maria, Call Cobs, Steve Tintweiss, Allen Blairman...contains: "In Heart Only" "Spirits", "Holy Family", "Truth is marching in", "Universal Message", "Spiritual Reunion", "Music is the heling force of the universe". Vinyl lies in excellent / mint- condition, no marks, flawless vinyl, very good pressing, while the cover lies in mint- condition....don't miss this one, i believe you won't bare to have many chances to find such a great copy soon!!!
