Description
I am parting with some of my treasured LPs. Here's a great record from 1971. It is the ORIGINAL GATEFOLD PRESSING of ALBERT COLLINS THERE'S GOTTA BE A CHANGE, and in outstanding shape. The cover front and back and in gatefold is beautiful. There is a punch hole lower left as sold, and there's a little wear along the bottom seam. There is a small corner bump top left. The original inner is MINT except for the punch hole. The LP comes with the ORIGINAL POSTER, which is the same image as the inside gatefold. It looks to have never been opened much at all, looks perfect. The LP itself on the TUMBLEWEED RECORD LABEL is in NM condition. It plays beautifully, and may have a hairline and some visible pressing from the white inner, but plays perfect. The labels are beautiful, showing little play.
ALBERT COLLINS was a killer blues guitarist who was explosive and leaned more towards the rock side of the blues than his contemporaries. To exemplify his importance, and especially among other musicians, we can just look at the other platers on this LP; Drums JIM KELTNER, guitar JESSIE ED DAVIS, and piano MAC REBENNACK aka DR. JOHN. A super cool LP for sure.
I love original original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place. The vinyl, and record pressings are all from that moment in time, and no re-pressing or re-mastering will ever make the sound better for me.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LPS FOR SALE NOW ON EBAY. I AM POSTING SOME TREASURES. SOME ARE RARE AND COLLECTIBLE, AND OTHERS ARE JUST GREAT ALBUMS LIKE THIS ONE IS.
