Albert Nadeau - 1977 - Saultone 002 - France.
Singer, composer & arranger Albert Nadeau from Martinique was a big star singers in west indies during late 60'S & 70'S era. Produced by Gordon Henderson (Exile One leader), this record contain good cadence-lypso cut influenced by funk. Focus on cadence funk tune called "I like martinique woman" with organ, cadence steppin' bass & horns. Also the reggae roots cut "Il faut qu'ils vivent", with fat bass & chorus. The most interesting tune is "I am black" a killer afro funk cut feat break drums, fat bass & sax solo. Music speaks better than words... listen to the soundclip !
