ARTIST / TITLE : ALBERT WASHINGTON – “SAD AND LONELY”

LABEL : Eastbound EB9007, 1973, USA.

CONDITION (Record/Cover) : EX+ / EX-

COMMENT : Orignal Pressing on Detroit's highly collectable EASTBOUND label. This record ventures into many genres: funk, soul, deep soul, and blues - but the stand out cuts are the raw funk cut "Messing Up My Mind" and the funk/soul burner "Sad and Lonely." The record is shiny and sounds excellent at least, strong playing, what a pressing !!! Very thin hairlines and small marks noticeable but don't affect the playing or sound quality at all. A super clean copy. The cover is in really nice shape too, little corner cut on the right (see picture), a bit dirt on the back, graded EX-.

GRADING CODES :

M = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new.

EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.

VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ring wear...

VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks, many surface noises are noticeable. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...

VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
