Description

ALCO 1003
ARNOLD SCHOENBERG / KOLISCH - STRING QUARTET No. 2
RED VINYL ORIGINAL 1950s pressed LP
VG+ LP with few signs of wear, but with an LP on colored vinyl, I will not grade this type of item higher than a VG+, as these recrds do play with some surface noise.  But LP has been carefully stored away for decades, and was never played much to begin with.  LP has no scratches, but a slightly dull look to the clear red wax.
This original ALCO comes with a copy of a letter from the president of ALCO Records, Peter Yates describing the details under which ALCO was able to issue these records of these works, and how they were recorded with the with the supervision of Arnold Schoenberg composer.
VG+ Cover, all corners and edges/seams are fairly sharp and clean and free of common splits and wear.  Back cover has a gray paste over, like this was a part of a library at one time (SEE PICTURES).  But there are no library stamps, stickers or cuts to this item.
