LA NATURA E L'UOMO - ITALIAN LIBRARY Lp by ALESSANDRO ALESSANDRONI / KEMA aka GIULIA DeMUTIIS / AMEDEO TOMMASI / MARCO DI MARCO and FRANCO TAMPONI. Original Italian private pressing on the NEREIDE label (ND 7001) from 1973. Spaced-out psychedelic lounge by important composers and musicians of the genre. Seldom heard private press Library, published by Amedeo Tommasi with Alessandroni playing on several themes :) A seductive mix of obscure Library cues with giallo thriller moods. Features, the exquisite sound of Alessandroni's guitar and fuzz box on BASSA MAREA / VENUS / PESCATORI and their alternative versions with bewitching scat vocals by ex wife, Giulia de Mutiis. Cosmic fender rhodes by Amedeo Tommasi on PROTOZOI / shades of Rotary - Colimbo label electronic jazz with primitive drum machine and keyboards by Marco Di Marco on the cool bossa IVANA and hippie funk sound of young America on LONG DRINK. The track PRIMI GIOCHI by Tamponi has a childlike "Lamartine" atmosphere. ARIA APERTA is baroque influenced lounge with delicate rhythms / synthesized celeste and subtle drum programming too. Superb mood music evoking feelings of sadness, joy and inner reflection. Our soundclip opens with the sublime BASSA MAREA followed by the vocal harmony and stoned sounds of VENUS / PESCATORI and several other important themes. A trippy LSD / lysergic undercurrent runs through the whole session. Micro press run, rumoured to be 50 copies only but maybe a few more? Rare Library Lp!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines. Light surface noises but most probably due to the actual pressing. Looks barely played. The laminated front sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some ring wear and creasing to back sleeve. Some corner wear / creasing to bottom open side corner of back sleeve. A few small dirt marks to front sleeve. Perfect spine. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!!
