Description

You are viewing: Rare Italy original press 7" on Beat Records. Sleeve in poor condition but the disc is strong VG+. Great! Rare Italian Library Funk on loud 45 pressing, pressed much better than the LP its taken from. Last copy sold by Pourquoi-Moi went for $215!! Read their write up of the single below. HEAR soundclip link below! Absolutely Killer 45! Listen to IBeats MareDiAlassio.mp3 at FileFactory
CIAO DAL MURETTO DI ALASSIO / MARE DI ALASSIO ... 7-inch, 45rpm LIBRARY OST single by FRANCO DE GEMINI / ALESSANDRO ALESSANDRONI / EDDA DELL'ORSO and complesso I BEATS. Original Italian pressing on the BEAT label (BT 068), from 1970. Desirable and psychedelic single. Killer mood music led by the founder of the Beat label, teaming up with Alessandroni and the label's inhouse studio group, Complesso I Beats. Top double-sider, featuring 2 of the very best themes from the L'Armonica A Bocca Library session. Outstanding mod funk on CIAO DAL MURETTO DI ALASSIO with inspired male scat vocals by Alessandroni and harmonica in perfect sync with the pounding groove. Big drums for the B-Boys / groovy hammond and aggressive basslines. Great for DJs. Comped for the Mo'Plen 3000 series. MARE DI ALASSIO is also superb. Evocative and cinematic with moody bongos / jazzy lounge motifs / psychedelic hammond solo and beautiful interplay between Edda's ghostly vocals and De Gemini's harmonica. Rare 45!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GRADING: I will try and add details but the grades i use are:
MINT -  i will only use MINT for sealed records    NM - barely played - immaculate looking EX - played but in top condition VG+ - maybe a few superficial marks, but plays through fine with no disturbances except possibly the most minimal surface noises VG - some marks light scratches, might play with some background noise, and/or pops/clicks but no jumps G+ - very marked, lots of noise / scratches

ABOUT ME: I have been selling professionally for about 5 years, in the past i have worked in 2nd hand record shops and i have plenty of experience packaging and grading records sold on the internet. Check my glowing feedback record if you are unsure!
