Description

This is an original pressing of the Philadelphia Orchestra's recording of Prokofiev's score for Eisenstein's film Alexander Nevsky, released in 1949 on the Columbia label, and featuring Andy Warhol's second album cover. The record is in VG/VG+ condition, with small splits in the upper and lower seams near the cover's opening (about 3" on the top and 2" on the bottom), with discoloration from a removed sticker on the upper left cover, dinged and chipped corners and edges, and other wear. Still, it's a nice collectible Warhol cover. The vinyl has minor wear and plays well. Shipping and handling costs in the U.S. are $4.00 for media mail; insurance is an optional $2.00. I welcome overseas bidders and base shipping costs on first class rates, usually $15.00 for one LP to Europe or Japan. International bidders are responsible for customs costs. New York bidders are responsible for New York sales tax. I'll ship the record after the payment clears. Happy bidding and good luck!
