Alexis Korner Blues Incorporated -   R&B From The Marquee

Extremely RARE 1962 UK Test Pressing 

On offers is this extremely RARE ACE OF CLUBS ONE-SIDED TEST PRESSING of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated first album R & B From The Marquee, considered to be the first full-length Blues album ever made by a British blues band, and was released in November of 1962.

It also has the first recording of Long John Baldry singing Rain Is Such A Lonesome Sound

Producer Jack Good arranged to record a live performance by the band, and it was recorded at Decca West Hampstead Studios, London, June 8 1962

The record has some light surface marks but PLAYS in excellent condition and has typed label.   It never came with a proper cover.

It has the catalog no. of ACE ARL 5605 1B 1130 printed on the label, with matrix number ARL-5605-1B, but this has side 1 songs on it:-
