THIS IS THE LEGENDARY “R&B AT THE MARQUEE” LP BY ALEXIS KORNER’S BLUES INCORPORATED AND IS MINT CONDITION! THIS WAS THE LP THAT INFLUENCED A THOUSAND R&B BANDS IN THE UK AND IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION. I BOUGHT IT NEW AND HAVE LOOKED AFTER IT EVER SINCE. FINDING THIS LP IN THIS CONDITION IS VERY RARE INDEED! THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY MINT. THE COVER IS IN AMAZING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE – MINT APART FROM TWO MINOR BLEMISHES! DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is ACL 1130 on the ACE OF CLUBS label and is a MONO UK pressing.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. THIS RECORD HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record must grade MINT! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in NEAR MINT condition! It has NO edge wear, NO wear to spine except half way down where an ultra-thin 1cm hairline has rubbed off exposing a tiny line of cardboard, No creases apart from a VERY VERY VERY SLIGHT AND INCREDIBLY LIGHT thumb crease (crease might even be too strong a word to use here) and NO rubbing. It retains all of its original look – amazing for a cover of this age! The laminated back cover has NO rubbing, there are NO creases (cover is still flat looking), NO corner wear, ZERO ringwear, and NO writing. The back cover looks new (see picture). The opening edges are straight with NO edge wear! The cover must grade MINT- if not better! It looks like it has just come off the press! Amazing for its age!
THIS LP AND COVER IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
