LOVE ROCK / GOING TO HAWAI ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ALFONSO ZENGA vocals by I PEPPER music written by DON POWELL. Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (AMP 182), from 1976. Desirable, Italian soundtrack obscurity. Killer groovy funk rock with heavy congas and B-boy drum breaks on the brilliant LOVE ROCK theme featuring vocals sung in English by I Pepper. Great for DJs with that west coast, LA cocaine cowboy / hippie rock / Biker exploitation soundtrack / Doobie Bros style vocal sound. Stoned funky rhythms with lots of fender rhodes / basslines and psychedelic guitar solo too. Comped on IL Dramma 01 - A Soul Thing by Disques Dessinee in Japan. Our soundclip opens with a long section of funky beats with sexy moans etc followed by the full theme in its entirety. The GOING TO HAWAI side has also been recorded. Cool AOR / SSW sound with country fried rock rhythms and vocals over big drums / rhodes / synthesizers etc. Mood music from the cult sexploitation film directed by Albert Thomas aka Bitto Albertini starring Shulamith Lasri / Dagmar Lassander / Angelo Infanti / Don Powell and Percy Hogan. Sexy nude artwork sleeve showing lead actress, Shulamith Lasri to die for too. For sure, the hottest item on either Lp or 7-inch format from anything originally released from the numerous Emanuelle / Emmanuelle sex film related recordings. Rare OST 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with some hairlines from sleeve removal / storage. Some light surface noises but mostly to intro of "Going To Hawai" side (as you can hear on our soundclip). The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with ring creasing and some corner wear in places. Small section of old tape residue to the bottom right corner (front and back). Rare OST 45!!!
