Artist: Salim Halali
Tracks: Ardjaâ Lebladek Pts 1-2

Excellent early Halali disc (from late 1938-early 1939) on this uncommon Pathé series from North Africa. Features oud and piano accompaniment - starts slow and mournful on Side 1, then gets more uptempo. Part 2 brings in a mixed chorus. Very nice - Halali sang both Arab-Andalusian music and Algerian classical/popular music.


Condition: EE+ (beautiful!)
