 Cheikh Ould Lakhdar made only 3 records, as far as I know. All of them recorded

by Ahmed Hachlaf (Pathé's A&R man for the Maghreb countries) in 1952. 

He was obviously from Mostaganem, because on the record labels it says,

'al-Mostaganemi' ( ?????????? ).

This record bears stickers from 'ELECTROLA Ausland-Sonderdienst).  This is the

only time I have seen them on non-classical records. The stickers prove that

ELECTROLA, who was the HMV/EMI representative in Germany, was in fact able

to order such records from abroad and distribute them in their record shops!
