Fantastic Stuff of The Soul Ali Ben Djamballa library Lp by Alberto Baldan Bembo. Very rare Original Italian pressing on the ultra-collectable Joker Label (SM 3649) from 1974. Killer Italian obscurity with all the hypnotic funk, trippy breaks and spacey beats you could ever ask for! This is a particularly 'off-the-wall' session featuring his trademark, ultra-quirky time signatures, visionary drum patterns some extremely tuff breakbeats and solid gold, hip hop style riddims! bugged-out synth, killer fender rhodes, fuzz and exotic funk raw rhythm section! and some amazing Afro fusion groovy horns and percussion help colour this fantastic session too! Incorporated is 100% cosmic hip hop and definitely one of the best head-nodding, spacey funk trax you'll ever hear! 2 killer, kick-drum and percussion breaks, splice this trippy synth-led instrumental. Non-stop beats, morphing synth and funky congas all the way! Niger is aggressive and heavy with more killer drum patterns, huge stabbing horns, delirious synth motifs and tons of funky fender rhodes! contain"Take six" is very compulsive with extremely catchy horn riffs fusing with more synth, fender rhodes solos and intricate beats! "Blue Jeans" is skin-tight 'funk rock' with fuzz and wickedly funky breakbeat drumming throughout! The super-trippy in the tune "Kilimangiaro" is maybe the bast*rd son of "Incorporated" due to its dream-like, layered synth and non-stop beats that cruise to the fade! "Cantata in Re" is style Blaxploitation funk but with distorted, 'classical' synth motifs! Very funky with deep fender bass (hypnotic loops!), Bongo,congas, wah wah, brass and deliciously sinister keyboards!"Black Coffee" is a heady mix of loud psych fuzz distortions, pounding beats and groovy brass! Very Italian Library sounding with clever time-signatures too! There are a couple more heavy trax on this masterpiece but we think you get the picture!!This is one of our all-time favourite Italian funk psych Lp and definitely Baldan Bembo's most underground and fresh sounding Lp!
