Simply Pristine Throughout & Complete With Original Die-Cut Embossed Gatefold Sleeve w/ Inner Band & Die Cut Window, Original Die-Cut Picture/Lyric Inner Sleeve, All 10 Photo Cards, Unique Coin Badge and Massive Folded Dollar Bill Poster!! All In Stunning **Near Mint** Condition!!!

From my own pristine Nr Mint collection of rare 1960's & 70's Prog/Psych/Rock & Folk, you are bidding on a beautiful ORIGINAL 1973 Earliest Possible (A1//B2) UK 1st Pressing of Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper!!! It comes from my own Mint Psych keepers collection which I will be selling off over the coming months. You will definitely not see another copy of this UK LP approaching this condition again! 

And this is the absolute best **Near Mint** copy of this rare UK green label 1st pressing you will ever see. The  UK first pressing of this record is amazing, this really is an example of a 1st pressing that really gave you something extra when compared to all later pressings. It is full of intricate features and fantastic touches, housing amazing artwork and gimmix designs that were far too costly on production to be included in any of the later pressings. Only the earliest first pressings contained all the features I am about to describe.

Starting with the gatefold sleeve, only this, the 1st pressing, had the embossed outer cover with rounded corners. It has an embossed gold coin on both sides of the outer cover and the two opening edge corners are rounded off. All later sleeves did not have the embossed coin and had regular square corners. When you open up the sleeve there are many more significant differences between this and all later pressings. Firstly, on the left side you will notice the die cut window with the dollar bill background. This was designed for the picture inner sleeve to slide into, framing the either the lyrics of the picture of Cooper and band.

All later pressings do not have this window or the picture/lyric inner sleeve. The right side of the inner gatefold also has a wide strip of card which is designed to hold the large folded dollar bill poster in place. All later pressings do not have this strip or the dollar bill poster! Next up we have the 10 photo cards. All later pressings did not contain these cards, they just had printed photos on the left-sided gatefold of the cards and the coin. With the first pressing you actually got all ten cards and the coin card too. There are many more subtle features such as relocation of credits etc. (for example, only the 1st pressing has a totally credit-free outer gatefold cover. This was because there was so many additional featured on which the place the credits, thus maintaining the aesthetics of the original sleeve. All later pressing however, have the Warner credits etc printed on the back of the sleeve). I think I've left you all with enough to contemplate here - but there are many other subtle differences so if there is any more information you require just let me know and I'll be only too happy to help!

Basically, you got so much more with this 1st press than you do with all later pressings, and due to the actual production costs it was only around for a very limited time (only the earliest 1973 UK 1st pressings had these details) before being replaced with the standard no frills 2nd pressings.

Please so not miss it as it is my own very best copy in **Near Mint** condition, it has been played a handful of times from new on a lightweight Mitchell system and other than that it has never seen the light of day!  I do not have anymore, so when this has gone it's gone... please check my feedback to see the vintage vinyl I sell is only of the very highest quality.

This LP is in Pristine **Near Mint** condition throughout!!! The classic 1st press green Warner centre Labels are in stunning condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind, The gramophone rims are also obviously mint!!! As described above - the vinyl itself is in Stunning Nr Mint condition!!! NO Hairlines No Paperlines, NO Scratches, No Scuffing, NO Groovewear, NO warping, in fact there are NO blemishes of any kind - not even paperlines!!! I may as well grade this vinyl as Mint! Nr Mint does not do it justice.  I have to keep reminding myself that I am describing a 34 year old record here, not one made last week!!! I can say nothing else about this record - it's absolutely pristine, and you will not find a better example - anywhere!! These 1st pressings were straight from the masters and nothing even gets close to them today. They play with a very loud punchy but also deep clear warm chiming clarity and have to be heard to be believed! 

The classic 1st press embossed gatefold sleeve is also in absolutely beautiful condition with NO Tears, NO unwanted repair jobs,  NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!!  It is completely blemish free!!! I really cannot emphasise how nice this sleeve looks. It lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR , virtually NO seam wear, in fact I can see no faults at all! - it's as simple as that. This sleeve easily grades as Excellent++ Impossible for this fragile un-laminated sleeve!

As mentioned above, the LP comes with all its original removable features, 10 cards, 1 gold coin badge card, Poster and lyric/picture inner sleeve! All are in top top condition and nothing is missing! If I'm ultra fussy there is some light discolouration to the picture inner, but nothing serious and obviously no seam splitting or wear etc.  Once again, please check my feedback to see the vintage vinyl I sell is only of the very highest quality. You will never need to upgrade this record - don't miss this opportunity
