Description
Up for auction is a nice copy of the Alice Cooper debut album "Pretties For You" released in the U.S. on Straight Records in 1969. This is the first issue of the record after Warner Brothers acquired this title from Straight.

Condition: Cover shows is still very good but shows some moderate age and wear. Front is nice but shows some black marker in upper right and an erasure. Front and back show some light ring wear top and bottom. Seams are strong, no splits. Inside is clean with light ring wear. Overall, still a presentable copy. Grade the cover Very Good Plus (VG+), better than most VGs.
The vinyl is in nice condition, still has much of its original shine. No serious scratches, but there are several very light, faint hairlines on both sides, but nothing that affects the quality of the playback. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Play-tested, the record sounds good, perhaps with a little slight surface noise in the quiet parts, but it's unnoticeable when the music kicks in, and never overwhelms or distracts you from the listening enjoyment. Nice sound, but not audiophile clean, as none of these originals are. Grade the vinyl Very Good Plus (VG+).
