In the 1970's/80's/90's I operated two record stores here in Sydney (managed one and owned the second )...from 1974-2000...we sold predominantly vinyl releases imported from the USA, UK, Germany, Jamaica, and Japan...always cutting edge stuff with an indie/alternative bent (bearing in mind that artists like Yes and Genesis, and all the original progressive and psych artists, were 'alternative' at the beginning of that period)...moving through the whole punk 'n' new wave scene with a huge degree of conviction to the cause. Throughout the 1980-2000 period I would sometimes stash away items that were limited, or were just so awesome and might be hard to find in mint condition years down the track...(I have a storage space full of this stuff)...this is one such item I stashed away, as new, back then.
